Looks like shrinkwood of some type. Real pretty! You have the knack for finding the special stuff. Thank you, my first impression in the shop was jasper, a friend of mine said maybe wood. nice size chunk by feel I’m thinking 8-10lbs. some time I think the stuff finds me. Kinda weird.

I felt this one waiting for me. Took my wife to Taos for Labor Day weekend. While there I seen a shop called “gems and minerals llc. “ found this hiding in a far corner. It was priced but not labeled. Any ideals?

Really like the design on the one. Looks very viking! Thanks, I made these for a trade to him, I picked out a really nice set of claws. In return he would get to basic simple caps. Before these I have not set a claw it was fun took about 2.5 hours for both.

Cool. But, I gotta ask, what kind of claw? Bear, I assume? He think’s bear, to me they look like rear black bear claws that I have been looking at to compare.

Set these for a buddy from my local flea market, he wanted something basic so I made the first small one. It was terrible to me so I dressed the 2nd one up a bit.

The smaller, triangle shaped piece touching the Quarter has copper in it. That did not come through much in the photos. What I found on that material that it’s called kingstone, you are very welcome.

Yeah - nice! A vendor at our club's show several years ago had a few tiny Montanas. I'd never seen agates that small, and I'm still impressed by how pretty they are. Before that I thought agates and jaspers had to be larger to make any kind of a "statement".
In my opinion, a multi-stone bracelet of those would be incredibly nice. A four-piece jewelry ensemble might even bring a good enough price to make all the setting worthwhile if the right buyer ever came along. I like your idea. I have been toying with the idea laying them out came up with some nice ones I think. I am very new to making anything. So I cross my fingers strike my torch close my eyes and fire away in hopes that something good will come out of it.🤯 The the couple who owns Dave’s rock shop where great people.

Hello everyone, when we where up in South Dakota we stopped at 4 rock shops. Ken’s is always nice just to stop in to see the private collection. When we stopped in at Dave’s rock shop on our way home. I came across these little Montana’s I could not pass up. I got around to working a couple of them. The little semi-clear pendant was made for a gift.thanks for looking.

Very nice, that belt buckle looks really good with that style so it shows the texture of the leather. All the pieces are cool thanks for showing.
