Could be a grey calcite with pyrite inclusions, but without more info like location, hardness and acid solubility its just a guess. Knife slid across the clear part , so I don't think it is calcite .

I know this one! It is kyanite & pyrite in quartz. Sometimes it also has azurite, which will be darker blue. Thanks Ali , I'm pretty sure that is it .

Just a couple of unfinished cabs I need help identifying . Unknown source . Little chunks of pyrite I think . Fairly soft . Blue/green areas are much softer and have a feldspar like flash . Looking for ideas of what it is . Thanks

That is a Royal Rock Saw made by Jenkins Lapidary in Portland Oregon. The grandkids still have all the parts, if can get ahold of them you can still buy new parts for this saw. Tony Thanks Tony , I will try to find them . Would save some hassles but take some of the fun out of it , might not want the fun anyway .

Thanks for the tag Rich wigglinrocks . I see in the picture Chuck posted it says pending pickup. I'd guess it's gone... Figured it would be a quick listing. It was sold and taken down within 24 hrs. When I first seen it the sale pending was not on the listing. When I went back to screen grab that picture to post here I did realize it was sale pending already. Chuck Keep finding the deals Chuck , sooner or later we'll be quick enough to grab one .
