I love this, great work & awesome shine! About how long does it take you from start to finish to do a sphere?

I love this, great work & awesome shine! About how long does it take you from start to finish to do a sphere? Sorry about the late reply. Got lucky with this one - it was round enough to need no sawing, but I messed around for a few weeks experimenting with different tooling. The sphere machine with little toy motors is slow at 120rpm, but I'm not needing production efficiencies. Seemed like this one took forever. I admire those who can make a barrel of spheres in a hurry. Thanks for your interest in spheres. An inexpensive machine can be made with 2x4's and door hinges.

And I got so distracted by grilled cheese and tomato soup that I forgot the YouTube link to a nicely made wooden sphere machine. This machine looks very doable, though I might use a waterproof plastic kitchen cutting board instead of spongy particle board as a base plate. Home Depot probably has everything but the motors and cutting board, and Amazon has them. There is also a second video - Part 2. Good luck if you decide to make one, and have fun. EDIT: Punctuation Duh, Robbie
