I am etching logos on some wine glasses and beer mugs as a special project for work. They will be given out as prizes or in drawings for our employee Christmas party. I am torn about which side of the mug the etching should be on. Have seen mugs with logos on either side. Which would you prefer? Facing towards you or away from you? Note that as of now, all employees are right handed. Or, should I just do half on one side and half on the other? There will be 4 beer mugs etched with the company logo. Thanks

I will only have 8 one time use stencils. My daughter is making them for me. 4 are being used for wine glasses, so that would leave 4 for the mugs. The wine glasses already have etching on one side. Here is the logo I am etching. It is 2.5" at widest point.

In that case I would say the side facing you as you drink

Thanks. Most of the breweries around here that have logo mugs orient them so the logo is facing outward for people who are right handed.

I'd say outward. The logo is typically advertising so everyone else should see it instead of the person drinking from it.
