Chuck, it's always nice to see a video...and that video really showed the shine through the reflections from different angles...so that was really nice to see. That being said...those pictures are professional grade to me!

I always love to see both (pictures and videos).
Do you mind sharing the "a few key reasons" why you prefer Lot-O over MT4?

Beautiful, Chuck! I like the video. Like jasoninsd said, it's easy to see what a great shine you got when you get different angles with the video. You can see the shine really well with the pictures, too, but the trade-off is the light bulb reflections in all the stones that detract from the color and pattern in the stones.

I always love to see both (pictures and videos). Do you mind sharing the "a few key reasons" why you prefer Lot-O over MT4? Lot-o uses less grit/polish, less time and while in the end the mini-sonic can produce a nice finish the lot-o achieves a polish at the 500 step that the mini-sonic will never duplicate no matter how long I let it run. This tells me the lot-o is a more efficient motion. These rocks are 500 stage lot-o. The mini-sonic does not compare at the 500 step. I can't explain it. The motion in the mini-sonic barrel looks awesome and pretty much matches the lot-o it just does not work the same. Chuck

Nice work. The pictures do the rocks justice but videos are always nice to get different angles that would take to many pictures to cover. The more angles the better. Thanks for posting. In the third photo, what is the green rock with the streaks??? Awesome rock!

Spiderweb Imperial Jasper. One of my all time favorites. (Sorry for answering your question, Chuck). Thanks. Any recommendations on where to get some to tumble? Any type of Imperial Jasper is really hard to find nowadays and getting pretty expensive. I haven't seen any spiderweb rough in a long time. You might find some on Ebay but I wouldn't get my hopes up.

It's always great to see your photos Chuck. I like the video, it's very dramatic. My favorite is the banded agate in the last three photos. Awe inspiring. Thanks for sharing.

Great material and fantastic polish again. Excellent material and an exact process show your skill level to be extremely high.

Your photos are always top-notch and clearly show how you perfectly polished everything. The video more clearly shows the depth of the polish. The large rock in the 3rd photo is a great example. In the photos, only the edge shows the polish off but the video catches the polish of the large flat surface brilliantly.
A photo of that reflection would be nearly worthless because it would hide the rock whereas your video shows off the rock and the polish at the same time.
All that said, if I had to choose between a photo of yours and a video, I’d take the photo anyway because of how beautiful they turn out.

I take pride in my tumbles and try to let that show in my photos. Videos seem a bit lazy to me but they do show the true level of the shine.

Not sure if that makes sense but it did to me. Lol

Hi Chuck, Nice tumbles. I liked the video and your dual lighting setup. The reflections look like a pair of eyes

Hey Chuck, I don't think the video shows anything that the photos don't already show, but I still like the motion for some reason. That's a really nice batch of rocks however you look at them.

Chuck Chuck, I do not have a Lot-O Tumbler, I do have a Mini-Sonic(3 bay) and currently running a 10 pound hopper connected to 2 of the bays. From the Lot-O videos I have seen the Lot-O seems to have more multi-direction movement as opposed to the Mini-Sonic which has more of a single direction "Roll". It seems the round shape of the Lot-O contributes to the multi-direction. Currently using the 10 pound Mini-Sonic hopper as a dedicated 500AO machine(long story short, it's almost impossible to remove the hopper!!) Also have a UV-18 that has a motion similar to the Mini_Sonic except that it's a Loop so the rocks do move around the loop so it does seem to mimic the Lot-O in that respect. I do like the video with the pictures. Henry
