Recently got into tumbling. My uncle had a box of random rocks, agates, bones, fossils etc that he picked up at an estate sale. This was one of the stones I tumbled from that box of randomness. It's the only one like it as far as I can tell. (OK how do you add photos?)

I see your pictures. I don't know my agates very well, but that looks like a Laker. I'll let others be the judge though.

Looks like it could be a Laker to me, too, but I'm not an agate expert, either. I was thinking maybe a Botswana, but the colors don't look quite right to me.

No, not really. I have no idea where the original owner of the box of rocks rock hounded at. Located in North East Kansas but that doesn't mean they didn't travel. I did find a piece of what looks like Montana agate in there as well.

Believe it or not, Lakers can actually be found clear out here in Railroad Buttes, South Dakota! I was shocked when I found that out...and even more shocked when I found one. I'd post a pic...but a forum member was out visiting and I found it when we were out hounding. I gave it to him!
