Hello fellow rockhounds,
I'm live in Central California so I like to work outside. I'm looking for a long table to place my flat lap and my saw on for doing "wet" rock work. I don't need it very tall. I'm going to put a GFCI plug outside my rock room to plug them in.
I thought about that Trex or TimberTech PVC decking, and building it using treated wood posts for the legs and central support. But that seems like a complex solution for what could be a simple problem.
Any thoughts? Anybody found a not too expensive outside table that could withstand wet work and 2 pieces of equipment? At least 8' long?
Thanks so much for any advice, and this great online community!!!

For shop benches I have always found 2 or 3 kitchen cabinets and some counter top from a Habitat re-store or other place with pre-owned building supplies. I like the waterfall style counter material with the built in backsplash.

The decking will also work and stand up to rain well, heat and UV will cause more wear than water, but it still would last for years.
