That was the first time I'd tried that shape...and was figuring it was going to be "throw away" practice piece...but it turned out. I really like the pattern and tones in that one...so I didn't throw it away! LOL |

Jason, I am really liking the tighter, slightly smaller swirly stuff oriented over the bails on these wraps. I LOVE what you did on that 4th wrap! Very original and artistic!  |

I'm really trying to "tone it down" in the frilly-foo-foo stuff...so I'm glad you noticed that! I was trying to go to sleep the other night and started thinking about that 4th wrap...so I knew where I was going on that one! I'm pretty sure the harp piece that susand24224 did for the challenge played a part in getting into my brain and factored in on that 4th one! |

Too often, wraps look like a giant snake trying to squeeze the life out of the rock. Let the rock live! |

I like the 3rd and the butterfly jasper best. But, in general, they are all very nice. I'm liking the pared down look, too. |

I've done that bottom twist a couple times before...and to me, I think it compliments the shield shape really well...I guess I would think the same for any "triangular" shape... Once I’m done learning with all the Amazon bought wire I have, I’ll be checking them out. I’m not good enough yet for the quality stuff lol. By years end though I will be. I think. |
