I saw my neighbor a row down at last years Flagg show had some. Planned to grab a little but then time got away from me.
They had a different name for it...

Is the "Bambi" Jasper actually Fawn Skin Jasper? It looked like it to me... It is the same materiel, there was never enough mined to make it a large scale commercial product, so you get small scale miners who put there own name on it. Here are a few, tidgilites, bohmei, spotted fawn jasper, fawn stone, wormtrack rock, jakeatite, I am sure there are plenty more. I was up there a couple of months ago, the location I am aware of showed no sign's of the tight tube patterns, it will take a lot of hard rock mining to expose new materiel. |

Well maybe we will have to try to make a run up there in January. Hard work isn't that hard when it is fun.
