Recently took a trip and picked up some more Stonewall Canyon Jasper.

Holy Crapola! Those are beyond sweet! I think I remember you posting this material before...and I was in awe back then...the same as I am now! I love the colors and the patterns in this material!! Really nice material James!!  |

Pretty material, James. I like the different patterns and colors. That slab at the end of the pictures is sweet! Thanks. I love this stuff. Unfortunate it is a ways from here in the middle of nowhere and not a very easy location to reach.
The colors and patterns in it are great though.

Holy Crapola! Those are beyond sweet! I think I remember you posting this material before...and I was in awe back then...the same as I am now! I love the colors and the patterns in this material!! Really nice material James!! Yes, posted some before. Recently took a couple of back to back camping trips. On the second trip I was driving by this location, so decided to go get some more. Not a lot of material at the location and have mot figured out where it was mined out of. There is a mine there, but I have been in the mine several times exploring it, and there is none of this to be found in the mine. In fact, the mine looks like it used to be part of a river or beach as the walls are all mudded together rocks, not hard rock like most mines. I assume this material came from a mine higher up and was brought down to this lower level. |

The patterns on those are amazing! The cabs are proof that they will make nice finished pieces.

(And not tell anyone the exact location! ) Planning on going back again in the fall when it cools off and do some exploring. Hopefully the area will still be open. There is a mining company running some tests in the area, so some of the area may end up under claim soon. |

As soon as I get my flat lap up and going I will lap the pieces and get them started with the rest of the shaping. |
