That looks like a Keokuk geode from Iowa. A Sedimentary Geode, usually formed in a body oil saturated mud sarcophagus that formed around a dead creature often of Mississippian age. I love it when you talk sexy like that!

Here is a mostly washed off view. An AA battery for comparison. A favor. Can someone identify these and recommend cutting angles?

In andesite, more rugged because of the large crystals around the bubble. If in rhyolite they usually break with "suture lines" at the fractures, a large section at the base, smaller on top, and 4-5 sides. Sometimes they are surrounded by smaller spheroids giving them a warty exterior.

I should mention the 2 pink round ones with the speckles have singular holes where i can see inside. What would you recommend i do when cutting ones like those?

So the teardrop shaped ones are rhyolite? Teardrop shapes are usually from steam bubbles floating up through flowing liquid basalt, the geologists call them amygdules - almond shaped. My friend Paul Colburn (the Geode Kid) explained them this way:

My plan is before I cut, to let little one take some notes and guess how inside is going to be and when we cut it, see how it turns out.'
At least thats the plan
