Chain threads are the best threads in my opinion. Easy for you and others to reference if needed and easier to categorize your finds/work
Those Montana's looking real nice, lots of variety too

Great group of tumbles Dillon! There's something simple...yet elegant about Montana Agates. They take one of the best polishes of any rock too!!

What a great batch dillonf. It looks like those have been rolling for a while. I really like the shaping. Your polish looks great too. Aren’t good, solid agates fun to tumble? They are really free of cracks. Did you do anything to reduce their size prior to tumbling? That’s always a dilemma for me. Trying to get a good mix of sizes in the batch is important but finding smalls can be difficult. Nice job. Thanks for showing.

I did't shape them in any way prior to moving on to the polish stages. They did have a lot of deep fractures when I purchased them, so it took a while to grind those down. I started with both medium and large size rough from the rock shed. I do love a good solid agate! They shine real well. Thanks for your kind words!!
