OH MY- How wonderful that pumpkin is !
Sweet - curls and all.
I bet the carnelian is spectacular back lit.
Boy this monthly chanllege is definitely getting everyone motivated ! Patty
Thanks!
Because the cab is frosted, I thought about polishing a face. But, I don't have the points to do it and the wires would dissect the face. It would be cool, though. I think I got the cab dirty when I was polishing the piece. It's actually more orange. I really love it.

The orange is spot on, don't think you could have done better. In fact I like it better that it has a slightly textured face- looks right in character.

What a perfect pumpkin you have there, with the usual precision that you always have. I see the changes at the bottom and applaud your execution of the bindings--I'm assuming looking at it that there wasn't much room for error on the placement of the round/oval wires, and you nailed it. I am also in awe of your curls--so precise and even.

Really cute rockjunquie Looks better than the tutorial thumbnail. I saw these last year when I first started looking for wire wrap tutorials and really loved them. I still haven’t tried one yet. Need to find or cut the right cab.

Awesome pumpkin Tela! Looks great for fall and for Halloween. Followed a tutorial, made curlicues, used a stone and used square wire! That really came out nice.

rockjunquie That Carnelian Pumpkin looks great. I'm glad that you were able to use one of those beach pebbles that I sent you. I look forward to seeing a picture of it backlit Thank you @ amygdule64

Patty Yeah, that stone is really something. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect pebble. Wow, these are all fantastic- very creative! Thanks, my friend and thanks for looking. She did the bail that I posted previously. Really cute rockjunquie Looks better than the tutorial thumbnail. Finding the right cab was a pain, but amygdule came through. I do recommend this vid, though, and I think you could easily go with a larger stone. Awesome pumpkin Tela! Looks great for fall and for Halloween. Followed a tutorial, made curlicues, used a stone and used square wire! That really came out nice. Thank you!! That one square wire was a necessity. Because this was a thick pebble with a rounded edge, I really needed a square wire to hug the side. A round one would have just rolled one way or the other. rockjunquie - Gosh darnit Tela Marie! I saved a bunch of earring tute to make, too. rockjunquie That Carnelian Pumpkin looks great. I'm glad that you were able to use one of those beach pebbles that I sent you. The pebble is also dirty from the polishing, but I didn't notice till after I posted the pic.

Yeah, it was really dirty. This pic is backlit by my computer. Those aren't cracks, they are texture.

Tela that is a perfect pumpkin! I love it. I gotta ask though -- how the hell do you wrap with those nails?
