Tela, I really like it. It has a tribal feel to it. Consider fabricating a bail for it to hang from that takes up some of the excess space there. Thanks, Robin. I was thinking of a small snap set gem on the copper in the middle. But, then I ran out of enthusiasm. I didn't pitch it, though. I'll "finish" it eventually.

Stick it on the back burner. You're mad at it right now. Who knows, maybe some day an idea will just pop in your head and you'll know exactly how to finish it. I have quite a few of those on the back burner. Every once in a while, I'll get an inspiration and can finish one I didn't really like back when and it turns out to be something I like.

I go in spurts with creative stuff like that without being sick. Sometimes I won't pick up my guitar for a couple of weeks, then when I do I can't put it down. That being said I really like the combo of sheet copper and wrap. I think your frame treatment to tie the two together is brilliant.

But, I do have a sure fire way of getting it back. All I have to do is make a simple, no frills wrap and it will get my muse going. Sometimes, I just don't have the time to go down the rabbit hole.

I agree with Patty and Susan. #1 It is saleable. #2 The stone is lovable. #3 It is unique. What more can a creator ask for?

All the frickin' time.
If it's not something that *needs* to happen, go where the momentum takes you. If you're doing this for fun, keep it fun.

Has it ever happened to me?? Yes...there's a wrap sitting on the kitchen table (my work space!) that was started about 6-weeks ago. I know exactly what needs to happen. It might take about 83 minutes worth of work to finish it...if that! Yet...it still sits! As far as your piece...it's freakin' gorgeous! I love the use of the sheet copper to frame the piece!

Aw shucks, Jason. Thank you.
I have no projects right now that sit unfinished. Amazing. I do need to get going on the challenge, though.
