Participated in a small sell on Saturday. I was really stoked for a great time as I sold 2 pendants and a pair of earrings 15 minutes before the show even opened! I didn't sell another thing all day. I had high hopes for this one even though it was only a $35 space. At least it was close by and I didn't have to get up too early. As usual, I met some nice folks and had some good conversations. I give a way tumbles to kids at these things and actually had some real nice conversations with a few of them.

I’d let you sleep in the tarantula room 😂

I used to keep tarantulas in my living room in a 2 story terrarium. The first floor housed the rattlesnake. The pythons and boas were on the other side of the room. I wouldn't have an issue.

Honestly, if you ever made it out to a show here and wanted to crash why you did the show. I could arrange it.

Sometimes you must refer to ... c’est la vie ... brother.
Your work is great... the buyers missed out.

I was thinking of giving away tumbles like you did. If nothing else, it will keep me busy all day.

Rockbrain. Hey you had fun, met some interesting people, learned about rocks and presumably what folks might be attracted to in the future. With the added bonus of a small cash benefit. Sounds like a day well spent.

I spill the tumbles around on the table give the kids a bag and let them pick 4 or 5. I know for certain I sold a pendant at one of my early sales because of this. The family was walking past the booth. I got the kids attention and asked him if he likes rocks. The mom and dad ended up buying one. It's also really interesting to see what rocks the kids pick. I had a show where 3 kids in a row picked Apache Tears. I like Apache Tears but was surprised to see these kids pick all black rocks with all the colored ones on the table. I also had a guy that had 4 or 5 kids saying he wanted to give back. He pulled out a bag of Boulder Opal slabettes that he had purchased a while back and let me pick one.

I love hearing when karma makes a good turn...so I hope you picked a killer Boulder Opal slab!!
