Dang James...sorry I missed seeing this when you posted it! I'm glad to read the Ozone treatments are accelerating the recovery! I'm betting Jax has been curled up beside you...and if she hasn't been, just lie to me and tell me she was! LOL She has been jumping up on the bed more often lately to get belly rubs and head scritches, then she curls up against me to sleep until he gets too warm, then she jumps back down off the bed.
Jax loves liking my legs and feet as well, then laying her head om them to take a nap.
Finally got out and went over to a friend's house for the first time in about a week and a half. So, Jax was really excited to be able to go somewhere since I have not even been able to take her for her walks.
Been a couple days since the last update. How're you doing now James??

Been a couple days since the last update. How're you doing now James?? Swelling is reduced and redness way down in the foot, and able to walk on the foot some slowly and carefully because the tendons are still tightly contracted.
Still getting strong pains in the foot, but they come and go. Usually the pain comes while I am sleeping, and it wakes me up. I think it is because of the pressure on my foot when sleeping as it is hard to get the foot in to any position that does not hurt, and any pressure on the toe or ball of the foot causes severe pain.
Overall though, compared to where it was I would say it is way better.

Just took some pics of the foot. If you're saying that foot doesn't FEEL like it looks, then I'm stoked for you...because that LOOKS like it would hurt like hell!!

The pain has been coming and going last few days, but so far today it is feeling pretty good compared to how it has felt. Hopefully the foot will not flare up again like it has been doing, and the pain will continue to decrease.
I am just so happy to be able to walk on the foot again. Makes getting around, such as to the kitchen and back, a lot easier. Was taking me about 30 minutes just to get to the kitchen and back with Jax's meals, and it was so painful I was hardly eating anything myself. Mainly handfuls of trail mix. So, now I can actually get back to normal eating.

Reminds me of when I got a nasty MRSA infection in an ankle/foot and the sulfa drug "cure" practically killed me.

That looks painful and you had to live on trail mix... no... I'm so sorry for your suffering. ** Been a couple days vegasjames . How're you doing?? Getting better, but still a ways to go.
Pain in way down as is the swelling. Blood vessels are starting to respond properly again. So I am able to put pressure on it, but still cannot walk normally. Achilles's tendon is still very tight and sensitive, so I cannot bend the foot to walk normally. Tightness in the toe tendon is minimal, and most the sensitivity in the toe is gone. Other toes have numbness.
So overall, way better, but still needs more healing so I can get back to walking normally.
Started on high doses of formulas and herbs to help with the healing process a couple days ago, which seems to be helping a lot.

Glad you're getting better. Two weeks is a while to be dealing with that crap. Healing a lo faster than the last time I got bit by a brown recluse. That bite took 6 months to heal. I did not have the ozone back then though.

Update on foot. It is about 98% healed. Still a little bone and blood vessel damage, but I was able to walk Jax last night for the first time in 3 weeks. Was slow going, but I made it all the way.

Glad you're doing better! I bet Jax is too! Yes, she has missed her walks. Jax has barked at me a few times to let me know we are supposed to be going on walks. So when she saw me putting shoes on, she got really excited.
