realrockhound there will probably be more people that have multiple ideas! How about making a master list and when it’s time for the polling you choose one idea from each person to add? It IS your theme choice so you can at least decide which get added to the poll… kinda what I’m doing now. But still allowing some flexibility as to not entirely limit anyone that has a suggestion. For those that have pitched multiple ideas, I’ve just been picking 1 or combining 2 that I think would be great themes everyone could participate in. That’s one of the challenging parts of picking a theme. Being mindful so all cabbers can have a chance to participate |

I don't cab - you don't have to pick ANY of the ideas I suggested. Honestly, when you mentioned tagging people to get more responses, I thought I'd be extra helpful and give you a bunch of ideas. I was only teasing about you picking one. If they all sucked - don't feel like you have to use any.
If you have to have one from me - pick the one you like best (that means you can change it!)
Dude - I'm not trying to over-complicate it! I was trying to help a friend in need. Because I'm a friend indeed. Indeed I am, fine sir.
Like I said, I don't cab so I don't know a good idea from a bad one. That means no hard feeling if you decide to leave my suggestions off entirely. It's all good bro!

I'll toss an idea into the ring. I really enjoyed the September low budget cabochon contest because it's a departure from the really pretty HQ stuff I usually see here. I know some of you folks just have piles of high grade material being used as a door stop or to hold down a tarp outside when the weather turns sour.
"Hey dad! What do you want to use to hold the door open?"
"Just use that 10 pound chunk of charoite over there in the rockpile!"
So in the spirit of the season with all the bullplop we have to get done before the holidays are upon us... Coprolite cabochons!
