Here's where we are stuck today. Let's goooo!!! First Weird Pet wood. 1. Second, another pet wood. 2. Third - is this brenda?? 3. Fourth - I don't know. I'm throwing an edge photo in so you can make an educated guess. 4. Possible Pet Wood - thanks pebblesky . This one still needs an ID if someone knows more Fifth - this was labeled "texas plume." For the life of me, I can't find any plume. 5. Walker Ranch Plume - Found online by me. A very very dark green moss agate. Maybe something someone knows? 6. Seventh - I picked this up and said, "Oh maligino. " Then I got it wet and I said, "Oh, not maligino." Anyone? 7. Last - but not least - Labeled "Lace agate" This one is so freaking cool in person. Every inch of the thing is different and strangely patterned like kick ass safaris. 8.

#4 also looks like some pet wood? I thought the same thing about that being a possible pet wood, which is why I showed the edge! Thank you so much for reaffirming my thoughts! I'm going to mark it as a possible pet wood and keep looking for it. Thank you, dearest!

Don’t know if this eye candy will help but what a good way to spend breakfast! I didn’t spend a lot of time searching I think tribeunited may have posted some of these for id already rarerocksandgems.com/ Of course it helps, it's a site I haven't visited before. If nothing else it's good to have for future reference. So thank you! As far as posting any of these before, I can tell you with certainty that I have not. I just picked up these bins, these are all new ones. This isn't the first time it's been mentioned that I posted the slabs before, so it's troubling me. It is likely that I posted similar material for ID or that these were cut from the same rock as something I've posted in the past. I estimate that I have nearly 5000 slabs at this point, with more to come. I think it's inevitable that I may ask or have asked for an ID twice for the same material, but not for the same slab, if that makes sense. The bins I receive are a mish-mosh of all different materials - never a bin full of slabs cut from the same rock. I do keep them straight as far as what I've been through and photographed and posted, which prevents me from posting the same slab twice. But that doesn't prevent me from posting a slab from one bin that has a sister slab in material I previously posted. That's probably happened more than once, and since it's been pointed out more than once, I assume you aren't the only person bothered by it. I think for now I'll hold off on asking for ID's, at least until i have all of the material and have gone through what I can do. After I sort it out I'll be able to tell if there was one like it before. That way I can prevent this from happening a third time. In any case, I'm sorry, and thanks for pointing it out again. Hopefully I didn't make too many people annoyed with me! Sorry everyone! I'll be more mindful going forward!

tribeunited either I wrote it wrong! Probably so! When I referred to already posted some for I’d I most definitely was referring to other material on that site of the same stock. That’s absolutely just as nice as yours not that you were reposting the same slabs. I also thought it may be a good reference site too. The first one that comes to mind is dead camel as one I was referring to. Wasn’t trying to come off as you were reposting. I was most definitely referring to the number of pictures of slabs OF the same material and how it could differ from one slab to the other with in the same material. Or the variety of pattern changes from one rock to the next in the same material. I am sorry if I gave you the wrong idea that I was bothered by you posting. I won’t reply to any posts again to clear things up.

However I get the feeling I ticked you off though! Just gonna throw this out there. Read the name of the website again! Just the name alone should tell you something. Oh right it’s Collections of rare rocks that very few people get to see.

Wow that website shows a lot of great slabs/specimens. I just hope I could zoom in and in to see larger pictures of all his/her collections.

dreamrocks - not ticked off, just totally embarrassed that I was duplicating the materials enough for it to be called out! I first thought you had an iron trap memory to remember all the slabs i posted, then I had to try and explain my stupidity. I just misunderstood you is all. It was all my bad. Ok lady. Get crack-a-lacking on that faceting!
