Some of you may recall that we were working on a warehouse full of rock and mineral specimens. I asked the owner about buying some of it, and she wants me to sell the stuff on eBay for her, in exchange for keeping some of the material. A preview of some of the stuff, I got 3 rocks out of a gunny sack labeled "Green Jasper, Jim Morrison Claim". This bag has been here for 40 years or so. First rock slabbed closeups Second rock slabbed closeups third rock slabbed closeup The collector who owned the warehouse also had a half ownership in a Bruneau Jasper claim, there is a couple of tons of bruneau japer in there also, not to mention tons of stuff that I have no idea what they are. I will post when I put stuff up for the people who are interested in acquiring some of this stuff. Thanks for lookin...............Tony

I will try to pull a few out and offer them here, just have to see how it goes first. I think she wants me to take some bruneau jasper and sell it as a trial run and see if she thinks it is worth it. Anyone have an interest in something special, let me know and I will see if I can find it in there.

I got a slab of that pretty stuff in a trade and it is REALLY nice in person! I have it on a display stand for now. It looks an awful lot like Morrisonite and has the same very fine grain as Bruneau and other porcelain jaspers. I am looking forward to polishing some of it up!! Doug

Ok I asked her this morning about doing some flat raters for you guys, she said we can start in the Bruneau jasper pile and fill up about half a dozen or so flat rate boxes. 50 bucks each which includes the shipping. She will be gone until the middle of next week, so I wont be able to get them until then. So there are at least 6 boxes up for grabs, post or pm if you want one of them. That works out to about 2 bucks a pound give or take a little, thats a terrific price for Bruneau jasper. If they aren't all taken by the time I get them I will post it in the swap/sell section with pics next week. She wants to see how this works out first before she commits anymore.
Have a good day..............Tony

Hey - good things happen - make hay while the sun shines and spread your luck when you can. The green jasper slabs are so beautiful I strained by jaw. WOW! the detail!!!! Being from the UK I have no idea what a gunny sack is but I'm going to find out and grab every one I can find, it might have some of that stuff in it right? LOL Thanks for showing us the pics, can't wait to see the gems hidden in that store, it's like kids in a candy store - gone mental!!!!!! I love discoveries - even rediscoveries are great fun, and your find is among the most exciting collections I've ever seen rediscovered. You've got a golden opportunity there Sir, I'm pleased it's fallen to such a rock fan to help in the ladies quest to clear the stock, as one of my favourite phrases goes..... Everyones a winner!!!! I'm really looking forward to seeing what you guys can do with this stuff, I gotta feeling the goodies your finding will get better and better. Please do thank the kind lady for her brilliant kindness and good nature towards rock fans, and all RTH'ers get in on the action if you can! Good value low cost high quality exclusive material?? ;D ;D Nice! Cheers, Harry.

Wow!!! You hit the Motherlode!
Those first slabs appear to be Morrisonite or Carrasite. Both are very pricey. Be sure and let all of us RTHers know what name you will be selling under on eBay. I will definetly be looking. Bruneau jasper is one of my faves!
