That top stuff reminds me of a big rock I found down here among chert (but way not chert). It looks very similar, almost fossiliferous-looking but I can't actually pick out individual fossils... It's cool, whatever it is.

It does look like some sort of fossil rock, I'll try to get a better pic tomorrow.

Hehe . . . when the pic of the display case was loading, I thought you did the bottom of the case to match the shop floor!!! There's always next time. ;D ;D Rich

Great case and specimen! The mozarkite almost looks like a picture rock. Thanks for the photos.

Nice slabs Randy, it's about time you posted some damn pics! Oh, don't forget to put some moulding on the sides of your display case to hide the edge of the plywood! just kidding! I don't think I could ever display a large rock without cutting something off of it first.

Cool slabs. The mozarkite amazes me because of all the colors that can come in it. The display case is a good idea, its always hard to dust anything with crystals.

Is that purple really there in the first pic, or is some camera effect?

Ed- I kinda like the rough look ;D Adrian- I'm not sure, I'll have to ask one of my girls when they get home. I'm color blind and purple is one of those colors that I get confused with sometimes. Daniel- Thanks bud, I'll have to see if I can find one of those and do some comparing. I got it off ebay but can't remember what it was called. lol

Randy- You need a little sign on that case- something like "In Case Of Emergency Rock Shortage- Break Glass"

(if that helps any)
