Been pretty busy the last couple weeks cuttin' cabs and putting together some gifts for the family. Thought I'd take a minute and show ya what I've done so far. A couple buckles for a couple uncles Some money clips from Tony Turner's link Some pedants (pic's turned out too dark). The middle one is for my Aunt Gwen. It's from a piece of pet wood she gave me last spring when she heard I was 'into rocks' Some compacts for my sis, daughter and me mum A bola for another uncle and a couple Imperial pendants for my nieces This is the first time since I was a kid that I've actually 'made' Christmas gifts for everyone. Pretty neat! Thanks for looking

After reading Brians thread, I wanted to share a few of my gifts I've been working on tonight. Nothing like trying to finish things up in the last minute. I've been working on these all summer...really A few fish bowls....and another 6 that aren't in the picture! I would love to see other gifts that everyone has been busy making. This might be a fun little thread and give me more ideas for next years presents.. ;D Steve

You guys are awesome - gifts like that mean so much - especially since every day life is so busy for most people. Beautiful gifts from both of you.

Gifts from the heart are the BEST!!! Whether hand made or hand fashioned or just lovingly placed in a boxed and sent to a special person.
I love all of these and the recipients are going to be thrilled!!!
I think my favorite is the laughing Man in the Moon in the first pic of Brian's...the lower of the two belt buckles. How NEAT!!!!
And Stve's fish bowls are the best kind of fish to have--no burials in the commode for these beauties!!! ;D
Thanks for sharing happiness, guys.

Brian, your work is brilliant. You have put together some pretty darn special Christmas presents, mate. I hope you family love them! Mel, if you're looking for family to share some of your work with, I don't mind if you call me "son" or "brother" or even "Grandpa". Mike

Wow, you've been as busy as any o' them elves up north, Brian!
Great lookin' gifts for everyone. But those three gals gettin' the compacts . . . better hand 'em a pillow first before any jaws hit the floor.
Steve - You musta went fishin' every weekend this year! Great job on the fish bowls.

Whoa you guys really are creative.. Great ideas.. Hey BEEFJELLO I got a question maybe you could pm me with the answer or whatever doesn't matter.. where do you find those beltbuckels like that ? are the pre-made? ready for the cab? Or are you into the silver smithing as well? But those are beautiful.. same with yours steve.. I know whoever is getting those is going to love it.. specially with all the different rocks you got in there..very unique!

I've been wondering where the heck you've been Brian. Looks like you put your time away from the board to good use. Those are just plain awsome!
