these have been rolling i polish since november 17, the bigger plate had a lot of filler junk and a few pieces of regular quartz and one good hunk of rose quartz: some close ups, here are some of the apache tears that had flat matte spots on them, problem fixed! this is a piece of rock that Steve Holmes sent me, haven't tried to cab any yet, but it tumbled up spectacularly! here is some scraps of amethyst and green opal from Zotika: some sort of poppy scraps from Tony, i tried cabbing a piece but the fractures beat me: don't know what this is, but the red banding is nice: here are some rutile quartz scraps, i might add some bell caps to some of these, they turned out better than the cabs did! and last, but not least, some stone canyon: thanks for looking! KD

KD, What a Beautifully Shiny Batch! You sure nailed the shine on them. Love the Rutile and you even put a better shine on that material I sent you than I've ever been able to. I guess rolling them in Polish for nearly a month is the trick. What an awesome variety..thanks for sharing. Steve

Great lookin' batch, KD, and pics too. The Stone Canyon with the red poppy in the background is super.
You tumbled the obsidian with all that hard stuff? That busts a few myths, huh?

WOW, I so want a tumbler now! That shine is incredible. Can you share what steps you did, besides the month in polisher? What polisher compound did you use? Love the Stone Canyon and rutilated, although it's all beautiful!

LOL @ Stefan! Could you imagine a batch from KD that didn't include lace?
I love that Rutile! That is definitely high on my list of things to play with...

That is a sweet group. Love the shine. That rutilated quartz turned out real nice, I gotta find me some of that. That stone canyon really steals the show though.
