Here are my latest. Australian Opal - doublet. It is very hard to get a good photo of iridescence in opal. It was pretty small one. But not as small as those three chrysoprase cabs. The round one is 4 mm in diameter. Big cab is Obsidian from Letze. Dendritic opal from Zlatibor Mt (Western Serbia) and Black Onyx (Chalcedony) from Letze. Amethyst from Malawi. Thanks for looking. Zoran

Zoran- Outstanding work and I'm really impressed!! ;D I'd like to know more about that obsidian from Lezte. I've never seen any obsidian that looks like that before. Is rough easily availible and how much does it cost?

Thanks, all. Doc, I looked for the miligrain tool at the jewelers tools store here in Belgrade and couldn't find it. Maybe I'll look in some other store or on the internet. Do you have some recommendation?
Steve, that obsidian I found during my field research of the Letze volcanic complex (South Serbia). It is just small occurrence and requires more explorations to see how much of it is there. At the spot more black obsidian can be found then this kind. It is very hard, without more detailed research, to determine how big occurrence is since it is situated in thick tuff layer covered with heavy vegetation.
