This is an atypical example of this orbicular rhyolite from Mexico. This specimen shows mainly reds instead if the usual more golden material. It actually contains tiny thunderggs in matrix almost like the Rainforest Jasper from Australia. It is very difficult to polish due to differences in hardness throughout the material.
