;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D I can't contain my excitement!! I was searching the online ads in our area and found a guy selling lapidary equipment and rocks. I called him and guess what...he had a Genie for sale. It was his father's and only a few years old. His father passed away and he (the son) could no longer use it due to health reasons. I asked how much..he said 400.00. That's all it took! I was on it and drove down to pick it up. I can't believe it!!! I am actually a Genie Owner!! He threw in 2 new wheels along with 5 or 6 others used. I also picked up a few rough pieces from him. I am still pinching myself to make sure this is not a dream! ;D My Newly Used Genie! Runs true and straight! A few slabs I got from him Biggs Cathedral agate??? a couple of Laguna Nodules I cannot wait to use this for reals. Steve

Good score on the genie, but holy crap, Laguna nodules that size ought to be worth a fair amount of what you spent by themselves! -Don

Thanks you guys!! I'm here all the time and will try not to get lost in the cabber!! I'd be playing with it all day if I wasn't going hiking, but I had this hike planned for about a week, and can't back out on my buddy. Even though it could be a great excuse....The Genie has control over me now. Whatever the Genie wants...I gotta give! I will post some stuff when I get it going. Thanks again for your excitement for me...you guys are just like Family. Warren...I am definitely going to be one of those rockhounds where my equpment and rocks will fall into the next rockhound with a passion for the hobby as big as the one I've got. Of course...I hope it will be years down the road. I love this Hobby, and I love the folks I've had the pleasure meeting and getting to know. Steve

Hey Steve,
Congratulatons. I bought a Viking VT-14 from the same man for $50.00. Wish I had beat you over there and got the Genie as well. Will be looking forward to seeing pics of what you do with the Genie.
