Hi folks! I've been meaning to try a wrap for a long time and today turned out to be the day. I found an online tute, studied it, sat down with some wire and a cab, and about three frustrating hours later this is what I came up with lol. I have no idea what gauge of wire I used, I had picked up the larger stuff at the rock shop about a year ago, and Steve (Rocklicker) gave me the smaller bail wire at Burro Creek. Here's a shot of the back And my sweety put it on for a pic It's brimming over with mistakes and imperfections, but over all I'm happy with it. Hope you all like it too, thanks a bunch for looking at my first! ;D

Fantastic First Beef! I think you are gonna be a very skilled wrapper if you continue to do just what you did today! Keep up the awesome work. I can't believe that's a 1st! BTW...love that cab too! Steve

OOOO I very much like the wrap - the stone is nice too but the wrap is awesome - I like the heart "join" - having the right wire makes all the difference in the world
Great job - If you hadn't told me it was your first, I never would have guessed

Beef, you're a natural!! Seriously, I cannot see a flaw, I see a gorgeous pendant, sure to be worn with pride!! Same as Tweety, I would never have pegged it as a first wrap at all. Well done. btw, what kind of stone is that? It's a stunner...

Ok Beef, where's the mistakes? Go ahead, just try to pick it apart cause I just see sweet success in those pics! I absolutely love how you brought the wires down and interlocked them. It looks like a heart within a heart within a heart. Your sweetie must sure be happy. Great job and welcome to the world of Wild Wires!

Beautiful cab AND wrap! Your first wrap looks great! I'm sure you'll became a wrapper as good as you are a cabber, in no time.

I love the front of the wrap, that was a very clever way to finish six of the ends. Tami

That's a great first effort, especially since it seems pretty ambitious. Nice job.
