Flint ridge is a tumbling favorite with me. Takes a great glassy polish with ease and is the most colorful flint I've ever seen.
Curt: it comes from Flint Ridge, Ohio. There's an old post here somewhere for the addy and phone number of a fellow who has it on his ranch and sells great stuff cheap. I'd post it again but can't seem to find the info in my desk since I moved.....Mel

Lots of flint, even flint ridge flint, can be plain. But, when it is nice, it is really nice. Here are my favorite pieces: (click for larger) Mel - It is: Gary Hardy 15887 Flint Ridge Rd. Newark, Ohio 43056 740-787-1578

That is some Amazing Colors there Sands. Thanks Dan for posting the info. I have a few pieces of the stuff lying around, and I can't get myself to cut into it. Although...I did slice my Nellie Blue stuff. Steve
