i didn't keep this after i bought it and cut it in half it was fractured so bad it looked like spider webs inside woulda made a great show piece but i wanted to cab it

It is so beautiful and it is a shame it had so many fractures in it. You just can't tell from the outside sometimes.

Those colors are sure beautiful. Too bad about the fractures.

I'm sorry that the rock wasn't as nice internally as it was on the outside, but the photo that you took showing the fracture was very enlightening (both literally and figuratively...)! I'll have to try that method of illuminating fractures.

What a shame. That can happen naturally, but more often it's caused by blasting or a jack hammer. I'm not familiar with mining at Morenci, so I can't say for sure.
