WOW!!! Is that fordite naturally colored that way? I am not used to seeing it. I keep looking back and forth over these cabs and I simply can't pick a favorite, they are all beautiful! Happy New Year! Fran

I love how you post so many cabs in one thread, it offers more time to enjoy the eye candy. They are a beautiful group of cabs. That last BO looks like a mosaic or stained glass window.

Way to start the New Year, Ed. Love the Morgan Hill.
That Fordite cab reminds me of the 60's.

Hi Mr Stoner,
Those cabs are beautiful as always Sir, your shape and shine are as impeccable as ever. I love seeing what you've been cutting, your material range is amazing. The Boulder Opal is excelent, the patterns on that second stone are incredible, and I particularly enjoyed the Morganhill and Woodward Ranch examples, very eye catching stones. Can't wait to see what wonders 2009 brings past your wheels! Thanks for sharing your works, I enjoyed looking very much.
Cheers,
Sparkles.

Ed, wow! I'd never seen Fordite before and it knocked me out! Stunning. Tough to pick a favorite though. Liked them all for different reasons. Happy New Year sir and great to see your cabs again. MaryAnn

ED: Happy New Year. I am so glad you posted that fordite, there was much discussion about that a little while back, and I was curious to see it cabbed, it is a beauty. I can never pick a fav, but that Montana is just drawing me in on this batch, I like the shape and the color. Here's to a healthier new year for you! Amber

Thanks everyone. The fordite is fun stuff, limited only by your imagination, and my imagination goes back to my younger days in San Francisco!!!! The third opal has some really nice color flashes that don't really show up in the photo, but it's another one of thos sleeper opals Looking forward to more great times here on RTH in 2009.
