The first two are with cabs that tonyterner sent me a while ago. I love the cabs and I like the way the wraps came out. This next one is with a cab that Jamie sent me. I love the cab and the frame of the wrap but the more I look at the wires in front the more I don't like them (makes me think of "The Claw" so in the spirit of kind criticism, should I leave the wires as is, bend them over to the back of the cab or redesign? Thanks for looking and your opinions. Lori

They're all absolutely stunning! I don't see any problem with the third one whatsoever ... I love it!

Very elegant! I like the wrap on the last one, it's a very dramatic piece!

Your work is sooo clean! They look perfect. The top one is especially cool, simple and elegant (and tight!!) and that cab is sweet!

Thanks guys. Maybe I should leave the wires. Randy, I'm going to try your tute again at some point, actually I did use one of your techniques on the third one as I bound the wires to the frame. I never did that before. Dee, after I was done with the third one, that was my first thought. Still not sure I like it but it's fun to create things outside of one's own box. MJ, if you look at it sideways like this it almost looks like a hand about to strum a guitar. lol.

Very Pretty wraps!! I love all three. On the third one, I would be afraid that the wires might get caught on clothes or something. If you used half hard wire, it might be just fine. I think it is a very elegant wrap. I wouldn't change it unless you find it catching when you wear it. I just love how smooth your wraps are. The wire just seems to flow right on your cabs. And speaking of cabs, all three are grade A!!

Hehehe, maybe Pete Towsend's wind-up for The Windmill? LOL When you're "in the zone", creative juices flowing like a mountain wash after a high mountain snowstorm, and you get to the point where you decide "it's done", then IT IS. Anything you do AFTER that continuous creative flow will be dissociated. As a simile, think of it like a blues jam being recorded live on a tape recorder. The beauty comes from the spontaneous creative flow. If you go back to "punch in" corrections and afterthoughts, the whole recording suffers. This is WELL known in the recording business. In fact, any guitarist who has learned Zeppelin's "Whole Lotta Love" can tell you that Jimmy Page's guitar work on that track has several obvious "mistakes" in it ... they weren't "fixed" because they couldn't do-so without ruining the flow. Fact. Well, you have a Stairway To Heaven there ... so, to quote The Beatles, "Let It Be"!

Lori,
You really do amazing work! I love the first that TonyTurner sent to you! That is a beautiful cab and you accentuated it in a way that really set it off to make it even more beautiful! I like the way the last one looks to be floating in its frame with a classy drape. I have to agree with Tigger on this one. If it snags on clothes, then do something about it, other wise I agree with "Let it be". Fran

Thanks everyone. I loved the beetles and that song"Let it Be" has more wisdom in it than a lot of people realize.

Lori, these are stunning!
Such a range of flavours in your wraps, and really triggering the stones nicely, super crafts Buddy! Wow your good! ;D
The first has a superb slender flow, really elegant and delicate, the stone is awesome, some kind of Agate, but those black plumes are great, and I love the soft banded area at the top, you did a great job of setting the stone, and the wrap compliments the feel beautifully.
The second has the funky happy feel that triangular stones always have to me, I love the appeal of such stones and the warming honey colour of yours is most inviting, the wrap says fun too, with the spiraly flourish keeping the eye entertained.
The last one though - Wow! And what a wrap! I just love the stone but the way you've cradled it is just fantastic. It sort of hangs in the space between your beautiful framing, and the flourish says "Hey! Look at Me!!!", that is an eye catching design, and stellar wrapping! Thanks so much for sharing your talents with us.
Cheers,
Sparkles.

Lori, excellent wraps, all of them! My favorite pendant is the first one, which I wouldn't wander if I'd see it in a museum or in a luxury shop. That third one also looks very good, no need to remake it at all in my opinion.

Thanks so much for all the nice comments. Adrian, if it belongs in a luxury shop it is due to tonyterner's cabbing expertise. Tony placed the midas touch on the first two as he formed, shaped and shined them.
Tony, no steroids, I did these while thinking about that cabbing machine I was getting from chassroc. All happy thoughts woven in to these.
Sparkles, if you aren't yet, you should be a writer. You have a wonderful flare for writing. I'm being serious. Thank you for the wonderful write up. lol

Lori: I have so much catching up to do on here, I was partial to the first even if it was Tony's, I think it is just elegant, but then the last one, I love the shape it looks to me like the curve of a woman and I would not change a thing. You do such beautiful work. Amber
