Great stuff! Very nice tumble, wonderful selection, a great shine, and I love that you collected them yourself. I particularly like the lacey agates in pics 9 and 10.
The Bay of Fundy is on my list of places to visit and rockhound... eventually! Thanks for showing them off.

Really nice rocks. I always wanted to get to the maritime provinces, the bay of fundy is defiantly going to be a stop. Huge tides and beautiful agates, great combo.

Wow, you got a glass shine on that batch. I wish the beaches I walk would give up stones like that.

Haven't been to Nova Scotia since the kids grew up. Always loved it there, perhaps time for another trip north
Love those rocks and great shine

Thanks everyone for the comments, it's fun to share the pictures and there is no better place than here to post them! Condor I didn't take pictures of that particular batch in the rough, but I started a new barrel rolling today so I took some pics of the rough. It's fairly typical of what you can expect to find around the beaches. I'll repost the rough pics when this batch is finished.

Thanks for showing us the rough, rocker. I look forward to following this batch. How many rounds of coarse are you anticipating?

ejs, probably 4 to 6 weeks rough grind, recharged 3 or 4 times, I like to let them go 2 or 3 weeks on the last charge. When the grit breaks down, it's like moving to a finer grit without doing anything except letting it go.I like to run at least 2 weeks in each of the stages for the same reason; seems to set a nice foundation for the polish.I used CO for the polish, works great on the agates. This was only my third tumble, so I've still got lots to learn. I have one barrel just started on 600 grit today, along with another 6 pound barrel with the new rough pictured above.

Thanks for showing the rough! That is some impressive finds there! If only we had anything like that in my area...sigh. You just made up my mind. I really need a 6lb tumbler now! Fran

Nice gloss on those. Very clear. I like the banding. I would have a hard time tumbling them. I would want to Cab them all.
