This is a pretty silicified pet wood boulder sitting on an entire pet wood tree off Shirley Basin Road, WY Not a boulder, but a pretty, opaque piece of pet wood from WY that I tumbled and made into a necklace for a son Large pet wood boulder, above Red Canyon, WY. I can barely lift this one. Boulder-head Weimaraner. To some people, 6" is a boulder I think---anyway, it's pretty The big pet wood pieces are just so heavy to carry back to the truck. They tend to be in inaccessible places. And it kills me to leave them behind------but I love the stuff anyway!

Is that a squirrel? Or a cat in that dog's mouth?

Good lord, I'd never have posted if it was a cat!!!!! Squirrels are a little more, well, expendable. Actually the dogs are afraid of cats.

Nice wood! It's a good thing I don't live in WY. I'd probably kill myself trying to get that log loaded. Curt

Nice looking wood...I love the Wiggins fork stuff, I've got a lot of opalized stuff from there and some pretty amazing limb casts...it's a shame we are not allowed to collect the wiggins fork wood anymore...

Only public land, 100% of the time. WY has tons of public land, BLM land.
