Hi all...here are some more unusual specimens I have collected in Wyoming...hope you enjoy... Sandstone Concretion- I found this near Sussex, WY Limestone "Geodes" These were found near Glenrock, WY...I'm not sure what material the crystals are, I don't think they are quartz, I'm guessing calcite perhaps.... Meteorite I found this in the badlands west of Casper, WY...I took it to the local geology museum and they said it was almost definately an iron meteorite...

That concretion isn't exactly like the ones I've found in WY, similar tho. And I've only found those guys in one place. Some are solid, some are hollow--is there anything inside the ones like the one pictured? The limestone geodes are really pretty! Nona
