hi all, I would like to share with you an un-usual find. Its a fossilised crab. Pic 1) Fossilised crab in its natural formation inside a mud ball. one claw broke while trying to unearth the crab. Pic 2) This one is a polished specimen. Pic 3) Thanks for looking. harry.

That is very cool. I've always wanted to hunt a place with crabs in concretions. It's like opening geodes. Crab or no crab. Curt

WOW, that's a first for me..I have never seen a fossilized crab..that is so cool...that's deffinately a keeper for a show case. thanks for posting the pics Steve

That's amazing I've seen very flattened ones, never seen any like that before. It's a shame about the claw.
