I joined this forum 3 years ago & promptly lost the link when my computer crashed. I'm back now (thanks to a link posted by someone at etsy). Glad to be back. I missed this. Had the chance to take some pics and work with the cab KJ sent, so I want to post before I send them off to the next victim on the list. Here's the wrap that KJ sent me.  And... here's the cab.  KJ, I want to tell you what a pleasure it was to work with this cab. The colors, the shape and druzy pocket gave me many options and possibilities. Knowing this was going to Amber, who is the next on the list, I remember her liking a wrap that I created with a smoky quartz, and boy did it take me a while to get it finished. So here's what is heading her way along with a couple of IOU's. Hope she likes it.  The color change was outdoor light vs. indoor light. Not showing a picture of the cab I'm sending so it can be a surprise. KJ, thank you so much for the gorgeous wrap and for starting this. I hope you don't mind, I'm sending them on in the nifty soft little bags you sent. They are just too perfect not to roam too! Amber, you're up next! Jo |

Here is the beautiful cab that KJ made and the lovely wrap that Jo did!!!  Here is a piece of the Kyanite from Prospect Park that we collected together in Feb!  Jo you did lovely work as always, and you sent a beautiful cab that I must now wrap for Tony, LOL!!! I think KJ knew what she was doing! Giving my sad wrap jobs to Tony, who has to wear it!hahahaha Thank you for the fun contest! Just clarify that I now wrap Jo's cab for Tony and give him a cab of mine to wrap for Shannon? And then he sends that wrap and one of his cabs to Shannon? I'm a little dense on following this! Can't wait to see all the lovely wraps! Amber |

HA-I didn't really do it on purpose-just put him after you cuz, you know, you're "together"! That Kyanite is cool Jo. Tony-no fair helping! This is supposed to be a fun learning experience...Amber, you can do it! Yes-you wrap the cab Jo sent you, and you give it to Tony along with a cab for him to wrap. He keeps your wrap, and sends his wrap to Shannon with a cab for her to wrap.

OK but I'm not responsible for any eyes she puts out when she throws the wires. lol I do think she can do this if she takes her time and doesn't let it frustrate her. Like all things one needs to do it to learn.

Ah nuts!!! I just looked (again) and see that I am sending my wrap to Chris.
Of course it has to be one of the most awesome wrappers. Isn't there a stranger somewhere I can send mine to? ;D
Okay fine .... I'll send to Chris
Maybe if I start now with an idea and practice everyday for the next week, I will come up with something cool.
