Hi Dwight, Don here from Ohio. I have that same tumbler. I think you will like it, it holds a mess of rock I'll tell ya. I am new to this also, my first batch has just finished the pre-polish stage. They have a nice satin finish like it says they should at this point. These other guys might have better sources for grit, but I am happy with what I got so far and it seems to be working well. I ordered the 4 stage 5# of each, course, med, pre and final polish from the gemsusa.com web site. It was $59.00 + shipping (shipping cost me about $20) for all 4, 20# total. That may seem like a lot of grit, but that big 15lb Model-B will go through a good bit each load. I estimate that I will only be able to do about 4 loads start to finish. This is really fun, watching them change. I knew I'd like tumbling, but not this much ;D I have made a few mistakes, but that's alright. The thing I think I like about the model B is that you can tumble some fairly large pieces of rock. I am going away for a week and will wait till I get back to start the final polish. I'll post a message after they are done, and e-mail anyone pics of them that would like to see what they look like. Have fun and talk to you later, Don
