This started off as a spear head. One crack later it changed into a arrow head. Not one of my better points but I have done the oops's enough now that I know how/why arrows were invented now.

I'm not too quick yet this one probably took me 1.5 hrs. That actually probably counts as down right slow. Guess we all have to start some where.

Scott, I have a book on making arrows old school. Will send it with the rainbow next week. You need to put some wood on those. Bow season would be a blast. And a true test for your work. Only problem is that you would top the Hanson buck, and have no endorsments. Be one hell of a story.

I like the look of these arrow heads, but I'm having difficulty visualising them in true size.
Could you post pics of them next to a piece of arrow sized dowel perhaps?

You did a great piece of salvage work there. Mine usually go at a sharp angle and I am left with a couple drill blanks ! The agate slabs seem to be the worst.
