I made this for Lori yesterday.........my fellow druzy/sparkly lover. She didnt know I was making her anything so SURPRISE! LOL ;D Lori, you are just such a kind, wonderful, warm hearted individual and I feel so lucky to know you. You are such an asset to this forum and a great friend! When Dennis/wolfden was making his cross country trip here, Lori stayed up with me late in the evening waiting for him to arrive. That was so very sweet and I thank you for that. This is a little chunk of druzy that came out of a geode that I got from John/builtonrock. I had never wrapped anything like this and druzy is so dang fragile.......a few little crystals did come off in the process. This was done in sterling, 20g sq ds wire w/ 21g hr hh wire for the bindings. It was darn near impossible to get a good photo of this, the sparkles just didnt show up, but you get the idea. I hope you enjoy it Lori.......and thanks everyone else for looking!

Ok sweetie, that brought tears. Shannon, you have no idea just how much this has uplifted me. I am truely honored to call you and many others on this board friend. Your wrap, your gift is flawless perfection as is your heart. There is a voice within us which echos off the gems of the earth. Many hear it. And some hear it at the same time. Shannon, I have also packaged something up for you and Wolf. It has been boxed for about a week. I just had not mailed it. Much like the beach stones. Perhaps it is the whisper of timing, I do not know but it will be sent Monday. It just seems everytime I am struggling with something personal, the members here, unknowingly extend their hand of friendship. Thank you hon. Sorry for the mushy but couldn't help it. I will cherrish this gift always. Lori

Lori, You can get mushy anytime dear. Those tears match the ones I had when you sent me that pm saying you were waiting up with me. There's some of "our" little self collected pebbles coming with the pendant. Some of them told me they belong with you. Shan

Hey, Shannon, you mean the pendant is still at you and you already posted it here? Lori, is this the first time you saw it? Heck, you're not helpin' me at all! I made a gift for a member here and my fingers are itching to post it, but I wanted to arrive to the destination firstly.

Adrian,
I thought about sending the pendant to Lori without saying anything and surprising her that way but I was "compelled" to post it immediately so that she would see it here. So yes, I still have it LOL. I will be sending it out next week.

That looks like the old timey rock candy that they sell at the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Michigan. Don't take it out in a rainstrom just in case...

Oh Shannon! That looks stupendous! Yeah Shannon, now Lori will never get to her own wrapping because she won't be able to get that loupe out of her hands!
Adrian... Just say no.

Thanks everyone! And thank you Randy!!! Coming from the King of Perfect Wraps, that really means a lot. I really do need to wrap more. Some come out great, some not so great. I would like to get to a point where I am proficient at wrapping no matter what the shape/size of the cab. At this point, if one turns out really well, its just luck LOL. ;D

Shannon, that's SO pretty, and SO thoughtful! You and Lori are both 1 in 1,000,000, and it warms my heart to witness such friendship.
(((BIG HUGS))) to both of you!
