Haha! Those photos are great! Those were wonderful times and I was sad we couldn't have spent more time together but happy we were able to see you and your family! We had a wonderul time. I love your San Francisco pictures! I didn't realize it was so pretty. Half the time I am dealing with traffic and trying not to get lost so I miss all the beauty. Looks like you had a wonderful time and got to see a lot. Thanks goes to Ed who recommended Tommy's Joynt. The food was awesome and it's pretty easy to get to! I see from the photo of the cable car and the 5mph sign with the squigley arrow that you made it to the crocked part of Lombard street. How fun! The photos of Yosemite are beautiful! Thank you for the gifts, fun times, and wonderful memories. Steve

Hello again friends, No internet access those days in Yellowstone (well, in fact I had internet but for some reason wasn't able to open RTH). Yellowstone was marbelous, a cherry on the cake for our trip! Today was a hard day, 600 miles driving and only a bit over 100 on the freeway. The rest of them - on mountain roads, including a pass at 9666 feet height. Then a detour to Devil's tower. and now we are in Keystone, SD. Karen, we are looking forward to meet you again tomorrow! Adrian

Hello again everyone! I finally have time to post some pics from our latest days of vacation. We are back in Denver now, tomorrow we will fly back home. We are not very brave when it comes to fly, so please send us all your good thoughts. OK, the pictures now. Firstly, pictures from Yellowstone Park. This place is amazing, it's like being on another planet: Here's a little geyser... ...which Ioana managed to plug Here's a picture with dedication: to Amber and Shannon , I know you both see ... something special in every rock, so here it is ;D The Yellowstone cascade is amazing, and also unexpectedly big (notice the people standing in the top right of the cascade) That viewpoint was a bit scary, beyond the rock Ioana is holding her hands on is a VERTICAL fall! We slept and ate at Three Bear Lodge: Now some buffalos, was saw lots of them: Then, in our way from Yellowstone to Keystone SD, we firstly visited Cody: Ina played that old piano: And I even saw a mean cowboy with a pistol getting out of a saloon ;D Then we drove through a mountain region (a 9666 feet height pass) and saw some very old rocks: Then , with just a small detour, we saw Devil's Tower... ... and of course the prairie dogs in the surroundings: there were lots of them: And, finally, after a pretty long drive and some objectives, we arrived in Keystone. Ina was my co-pilot and she helped me a lot through some mazed roads. Notice the maps on her feet, there are three of them: Then the next morning we saw Rushmore Mountain: And then we headed South to meet Karen in Imperial. Going South we had for the first time the feeling we expected to have on most of the roads we drove on, but we didn't: the loneliness: We met Karen in Ogallala and we visited a marvelous place, a pet wood museum which is the result of a life-time passion of two brothers: This is definitely a place to visit! We came in Imperial and Karen took care for our accommodation in one of the best places we've been so far: the Balcony House: Of course we also visited her home and met all her lovely family: The next day, we went together at some points of interest. We went to an old mill, which is near a lake which has some hydraulic steel structures: right on target with my job. I had to picture them: Here's the inside of the mill In the evening Karen organized a cook-out, which came out really great. No wander about that, as you see Karen was in continuous action, not even the camera wasn't able to catch her still: Her brother was the chef, and the barbecue was delicious: simply not enough fingers to lick! Thank you very much Karen for the beautiful days you offered to us! And of course, thank you everyone who met us in this trip. All of you are so special and really made this vacation of ours to be unique. Thank you also tho all those who PM-ed me and wanted to meet but from one reason or another the meeting was not possible. And also a big thank you to all the people who advised me here about the trip, the roads, the hotels and so on. Your advices helped a lot for us, who were for the first time in USA. Your country is big, one can see this on any map. Your natural beauties and monuments are beautiful and grandious, one can see this from the pics but more better admiring them in nature. But we couldn't had realized the overwhelming generosity and friendship if we wouldn't had met you, friends! A big thank you, we will keep those days forever in our hearts! Ioana, Ina and Adrian

That last statement brought tears to my eyes and made my Heart Swell! I'm so thrilled You and the Family had a wonderful trip and was made even more joyous with the wonderful people you were able to meet. Every picture of You, Ina, and Ioana show the Big, Beautiful Smiles which so fittingly fit the Hearts Contents. This has been a fun adventure for Me and I appreciate you posting pics throughout your journey. It has been quite an adventure for You and the Girls and I'm Glad you had safety throughout your travels. I guess one more long ride and then Home Sweet Home awaits you. Thanks Adrian, Ioana, and Ina for making the RTH such a great place. steve I forgot to ask....how many MILES did you drive???

What a wonderful, full trip you have had! As others have said, you have shown many of us parts of the US we have never seen. Thank you for all of your hard work in posting pictures and words, when you probably really needed to collapse on a bed and take a nap!
Safe travels home.

What a great trip! It's always nice to share, makes everyone feel good about themselves.
I bet you have been to more of the USA in one vacation than most people who live here.

Thank you again friends, WE ARE HOME SAFE!!! The travel was OK, thank you for the good thoughts. And we're very tired (looking for our bed to collapse in, haha Amy), which is good: it's evening right now and the good sleep will hopefully help us adapt to our time shift.

Glad to hear you made it home safe. All your pictures are great and now you gave me the bug to see Yellowstone. I think everyone who met you is glad that we could make your vacation a great one. It was a pleasure meeting you and the girls and I will never forget our time in Moab.
