Ever since I can remember, I have loved Tigereye. This is a cab that Randy sent me quite a while ago. When I wrapped it, I got real stuck with creating the bail so I put it in a drawer for about a month. The wire was so mangled, I thought I would have to start over but giving it a rest for a while paid off. I finished this 2 nights ago. This has to be the prettiest Tigereye I have ever seen. I think it is Maramamba or maybe verigated. Back side for Tweetie These are Montana from Jamie. I decided to try to better my skill with prongs Matching earrings. These were the smallest cabs I have ever wrapped Until she sent me these. The cabs fit on my pinky finger nail. My first love of hounding anything was/is natural sea glass. I figured a way to wrap two stones or in this case sea glass together. This is my first try and will use it as my proto type. backside for Tweetie I had purchased a strand of Hemimorphite beads at a local bead shop about a year ago and I only had one bead left so I made a bracelet. The smaller beads are just colored glass beads from Walmart. I couldn't help it, they matched the stone perfectly ;D I hadn't posted pics for a while so trying to make up for lost time. Thanks for looking. Lori

I'm not sure if Tiger eye is solely found in Austrailia but this is definitely Tiger Eye and I think Maramamba as the pattern/striations? is a bit more intricate. Moondragon, that made me Thanks.

Excellent as always Lori. I can't comment a whole lot about specifics as I still don't know how to even try much of what you do. I am partial to the seaglass, being that I have many containers of it in my workshop. A wonderful piece that is.

Lori, those amaze me - especially the little earrings. I doubt that I'll ever be able to do anything nearly that small! Those are gorgeous!

Thank you Tom, to be honest I didn't think I could do it either. lol
Larry, Jars of sea glass is as wonderful as a yard full of rocks. Do you have any reds? I only found a few of that color in my life.

Lori, I think maybe 2 or 3 small reds is all. Not too many cobalt blues either. Pretty much whites, greens, browns and light blues. It's really cool to see the randomness in pieces when bottle lettering is involved also. We gather at my wife's family's lake beach so we always get first dibs on what's there, which is nice.

Totally cool and awesome Lori! You really nailed prongs and busted out the ingenuity on the double sea glass. I just love looking at your wraps and following your lines. Graceful and pleasing. Each pic is serious delight. Are you going to wear the Tiger Eye and Montanas together?

Thanks for all the nice comment Jo, I didn't think of wearing the two together as the Montana is part of the inventory for an upcoming event. Larry, I could talk for hours about sea glass, I love finding pieces with lettering on it. Once, I actually placed a white seaglass on top of a green seaglass to magnify the letter in the green and then wrapped it up. I was trying to create a doublet effect. It was so rudimentary but fun to make.
