We got our first snow of the year today, it tried to snow off and on all day, but when the sun went down it cooled off enough to start sticking! First snow of the year taken from my front door! Won't stay on the ground long, but this is very early for the first one of the year, maybe we will get a good snow year. Have a great day.................Tony

Snow? What's that? LOL!
When I left Longmont, Colo., I threw my snow shovel in my neighbor's garage and said, good luck with that - I won't ever need it again!
Now I find I miss the snow once in a while.

I LOVE SNOW!! I love to ride on snow, and if it is a really really good day I get to ride in the snow. Maybe a video can explain it better!
And looking at it from a rock hound's perspective, something has to wash the next year's crop of rocks out of the ground, so the more snow the better!!
WoooHoooooo, let it snow!

I've seen Tony ride, and it's just like in the video. (Except when he had to stop to dig and saw my sled out of the bushes where I got it stuck :-) No wonder he's cheering for more snow! Barb

Have to admit, I love the snow as well. I've lived in no snow climates, and it's just not the same. Granted, I'm not sure if I love the snow enough for Minnesota, Western/Upstate New York, Idaho, Canada...
Kansas snow works for me. (But does anyone want the ice storms? I could definitely do without the ice storms....)

I love the snow too. I just purchased a new Dodge Ram 4x4 and I'm itching to try it out. But just like akansan said I could do without the ice storms. Nothing will beat the '94 ice storm we had here in KC. Lets just hope that the cooler than normal summer will turn out to be a cooler than normal winter so we don't have to worry about ice, go straight to snow!

I missed the '94 ice storm, but I was without power for 8 days after the 2001 ice storm. A kind crew from Kentucky finally turned my power on!

I got snowed on 3 times last Wednesday in Gilchrist, OR and at Odell Lake. Crazy, cause it was 85 degrees two days before that in Gilchrist and I had the AC on in the truck!
