Nice collection, it's amazing how some of your points from S. America closely resemble points from the mid-west and others are dead ringers of points found in the N.western U.S. A few of them are exactly like points that have been found recently in the Sahara Desert in Africa. After working with several different types of stone, I sometimes think that the workability of the material had a tremendous influence on the halfting of the point or blade. #12 showing the pronounced wings , look like Obsidian and are very similar to the points found on the Rogue River in the N. West U.S. #17 has 3 points with fairly basic halfting areas that are tongue shaped and they look like they are possibly made from Basalt which is not easily worked. Those points look EXACTLY like some of the points I have found here in Iowa made from the local chert which is really hateful to work with . ( I got the blood blisters to prove it ) It seems as tho the people that worked the materials that were similar in nature came up with basically the same shapes for their tools even tho they were separated by thousands of miles or oceans !
Thank you for sharing your collection with us, it's a treat seeing tools from another part of the world .
