Nice score - Looks like you dug the Midnight Lace pit? I can tell by the load on your truck you got your BLM regulation of 250# of take home for the year right? :nono: LMAO Just kiddin! - Rumor has it, BLM has tried to enforce a 250# limit per person per year. I call BS - if they want to enforce it, they should post signs at the buttes! I hauled home 1900# my last trip. It'll last me a couple years before I go back. Lots of cutting! I strongly agree with the code of ethics... Take only what you'll use!
Next time you folks should come down to glass butte over spring break (last week in March) That's when the Glass Butte Knap-in is held. Depending on the snow pack, some beds are closed.. but still lots of diggin. Last year we had 3" of snow Sunday morning! Was cold, but fun.

That's for dang sure! - I hate buzzworms.... I have to admit though... I have not seen any at Glass Buttes personally. Years ago I had one just about bite my leg down at the Limb Cast Beds on South Fork Crooked River. Really opened my eyes to pay more attention! Another nasty little sucker I've ran into several times out digging in Oregon are scorpions. Around my area we have larger dark colored ones... Central Oregon are a very light, almost transparent tiny buggers..! Those don't bother me too bad... Just pick up with the rock pick and toss them off to the side of ya.

I am sure glad you took us along on your trip with this post! What an amazing trip! I was cracking up about Dyna! Ugh! I bet she just didn't get what was wrong either.hehehe! It looks so cold but so much fun and I would be scooping up the small stuff since that is all I can handle right now. The pictures made me cold right here! Looks like everyone got some amazing material! Fran
