Hi y'all, well my trip to Pa, has been drab until yesterday when the sun finally came out after a week of not seeing it. Today I went out with my dad hunting for arrow heads in a corn field along the susquehanna river just north of Camp Hill, Pa.
There I found a spear head/scraping tool I am not quite sure at this point...but it was definately knapped from flint,that was so awesome to find it right at the edge of a natural spring in the field itself. I also found what I believe to be petrified wood...I won't know till I get them home and do more work with them in the shop.
well, tomorrow we will be off searching for civil war artifacts and more rocks. who knows what I will find. when I get back to oklahoma I will post pics for all to see.

The bottom is fairly flat and it appears to have some small flaking on the bottom edge. It may well be a scraper or similar tool, it is kind of hard to tell from a one angle pic.

Nothin beats a hands on touchie-feelie though !
