I swear, it isn't like riding a bike...that's for sure. Anywho, here are some things that I made recently. The first one is an old pendant that I redid into a necklace. It is charoite, black onyx and amethyst. This next one is malachite and I was practicing the woven bail technique...dang this uses a lot of wire. I did it in argentium silver cause I didn't want to have to clean it all the time. and last but not least...this is a cab from Jaime Colee of chrysocolla surrounded by peridot. I know you all can't see all the mistakes...but I sure can. Anywho, I hope ya'll enjoy as they are all different not only in color, but in techniques. ;D

Thanks all! There is a tut that is very similar to the Malachite technique. It was made by dancing feather (Sherry of Sherry's Jewels). I think you could find it if you did a search for Sherry's Jewels. She does some great work with copper wire and is a darling person to meet. Mine is done a tad differently, but you should come out with about the same look with less wire...I think anywho. Hugs to all and happy holidays, Nancy F

Thanks gal! After taking pics of it, I think I should have gone with my first choice of garnets...dang! Ah well...I admit to not being as patient with it as I should have been. That is a BIG no no where I am concerned. I know that, but shoot...I was just trying to get back into making something...anything! lol I considered redoing it, but with the price of silver, I didn't dare. For once I let my pocketbook rule. sigh...

What an amazing trio. Those look like a lot of time was spent creating them but boy what creations. Just my ho but I think the peridot brings attention to the beautiful colors in that stone.

Thanks! I was trying to bring out the light green...also, I didn't want the accent stones to over power the colors in the stone. Anywho, I like it...I just don't love it. lol I think it is just my lousy attitude. It'll get better when we have more sunny days. I'm one of those that gets grumpy when I don't get enough sun.

Thanks ya'll! They are all different...I think that is why I like making wire jewelry. There are so many things you can do with it.

Thanks Fran & Mel! Hey Mel...I'm thinking this summer I may have a FREE workshop for anyone who wants to learn or improve their skills. I'll let this forum know if I plan on doing one.
