One Year for me- And I think I'm the second highest poster (behind Cher no surprise there!) I guess I just don't know when to shut up!

I think alot...so far precious few people here have figured out that I'm a big dummy. It's the secret of my longevity.

it says i registered on Jun 5, 2004, 4:24pm, which i guess is about right. Doc and Sands really helped me a lot, especially when i got the trim saw a little while after that. Bearcreek joined around the same time i did, so did Connrock, i think. llanago was already here, so was Cookie and Rockyraccon. River Otter was a avid poster, but stopped. Shorty also disappeared. Cher started after me, but only just....
i had gotten my first (CE) tumbler at Christmas in 2003 and was tumbling "solo" all that time thinking i MUST be the ONLY person over the age of 10 that was doing this weird hobby. YA THINK?
good thread,
KD

KD LMAO- I was searching for a some help with my thumlers (not even sure what I was wondering now) and I googled here (sorry mark) It was just before the Mark/ Andy thing- I signed on and said that I would stop in from time to time (as I am an avid Metal detector and used to spend a lot of my posting time there) 4411 post later I'm still here at least 5 days a week- Can't get enough of this rock stuff!

I think I actually joined about a year ago, sometime near the middle of February 2005. Then I was abducted by The Electricals and lost my self. Mark recreated me, and now my Profile says I have been a member since 9/05.
I'm not really a BLABBER POSTER! S

Glad I started this thread. I actually went back to the beginning and read some of the old threads. Talk about Dejavu. Just goes to show what a great bunch of people we got here. We keep answering the same questions and never take the "holier than Thou" attitude that I've seen on other message boards. Like I always say, these people are "The best friends I never met".

Hey Ed - I'm usually not too far away. I often come and cruise the boards, but don't always comment. There are different spots up here in "the hills" if you know where to look. You can spend many hours/days looking around and not finding anything even though the view is usually wonderful. Gone on some crystal hunting day trips with my local rock club. Don't get out as much as I would like.
Your last comment is right on, the givers just keep on giving. Always very patient with everyone. I guess that's why I've been hanging around for almost 3 years. See ya 'round.

Officially joined on January 2, 2004, but have been reading the board since it's inception. I had never been part of a forum before and it took awhile before I was convinced that I would enjoy it.
Absolutely no regrets!
