Yep, I came up with the idea to post close-ups, mainly for the Moss to show the incredible detail of this stone. I cabbed this one from a flat-rater rock that I received from Sheri (Rockhobbit). Check it out! ....... Next is a piece of some kind of agate ;D showing no patterns at all. Still, I liked the stone and I did a slight deviation from my normal style of wrapping.... How did I do? ;D

Randy you always do such a great job on cabs, Like that different style also give that plain stone a classy look. Donna

Two beautiful wraps. I am looking at all of your's and everyone elses wraps to learn what to do with the wire that ends up on the top. I'm most often puzzled at the top. So some times I get cosmic with my wraps. We like the second one the best. Tom -& Debby

That moss is really amazing! There is a whole lot going on in it and you just wouldn't see it any other way! I love your wraps Randy and the light agate with just a few black inclusions just really looks neat! Beautiful wrap too! Fran

Love the moss. Love the clear to gold graduation with a mossy accent in the second. Your wrapping is excellent! Love how you are outlining the cabs with a bezel-like style to secure the stone, Randy. Jo

I have both admiration and a question. In the second one, did you bend all three wires at once (across the front) or one at a time? They are so evenly spaced--not at all like mine--

Thanks y'all!! Susan- I bend them one at a time. It usually takes about ten or 15 minutes of tweaking after they're bent to make them even, it's fairly easy as long as you go slow.

Thanks, Randy, I will try again. I haven't yet been able to get the spacing as clean as yours, but yours provide the motivation to keep trying.

Geez, Randy, do you ever do a bad wrap? Those are beautiful. Everything is always so perfectly spaced and the wraps are always just perfect for the stones.

Oh, come on post the bad ones too...... ( I, by the way, post ALL of my wraps ) Perfect work as always... I just noticed something though.... You might want to try eliminating the little ( 3 wrap ) binds on the left and right just below the bail. I find that alot of the time they are not necessary, as the bail holds everything together pretty well. Then again I do usually make my bail a little different than you do..... just an idea.....

I've thought about eliminating those on the cabs that are pointed at the top because you're right, they serve no purpose. I'm gonna try that on one this weekend, I have a really cool piece of sodalite that I polished about a year ago. I'll post pics. Oh, I really do post all of my wraps. lol.... don't tell anyone ;D
