Howdy folks, Lowell and I are going to launch a couple of more threads so folks can start going through their collections and begin the picture posting. This thread will be for all agate and jasper from the fine state of Arizona ( Jamie, Sheri, Brian and gang are you reading this?). So bring on those fine plumes, mosses and fortifications, those gem silicas ( Stonesthatrock+Jamie), those beautiful pet woods and those yummy fire agates. Incidental non agate/jaspers are Ok too. Once again, you don't have to give up the location for your secret spots, just a nearby city , river, county etc will do. So come one and all, dig through those slab and specimen boxes and lets make this database grow......Mel

Do you guys want some chryscolla and shattikite pics? I can add some old stuff found by Martin Koening many years ago like green plume/moss from the Santa Maria's as well.

Yep! My problem is that they also come from Mexico and Coon Hollow in California. I have samples of each of those locations, but none from Arizona.
I'm just starting spring break (been a busy boy lately) so there'll be a couple more indexes coming out and I'm hoping to find some images from fire agate to include, both from Arizona and California. (Keep your fingers crossed).
