Marie, the one you are calling "unknown green jasper" looks a lot like the nephrite/jade/jadeite stuff I've been working with. Hopefully, Mel can definitively tell us the correct name.
Your stones and wraps are all looking very pretty and well done. Good on ya!

You know, I normally don't like all the curlicues but that 4th agate from the bottom just looks great with them! Another great batch here! Fran

My back (and feet) give out after a short period also, so I use a barstool cut to a good height that allows me to keep on slabbing and cabbing. Maybe that'll work for you??

Oh my gosh, Marie ....poop....LOL. You did great on these even with a messed up back. Hope you aren't doing too much and resting. I have a strange question for you: why do some of your pictures look like you photographed the cab upside down? (ie...bails on the bottom in the picture) Just curious

Thanks everyone! The reason I photo some of my wraps upside down like that is that people looking through etsy like to have different angles to see things from...that's all. I got the tip from another seller...who has tons of sales. Now, when I list something, they have 5 pics to look at, different background colors, so people can see what appeals to them as far as color matching, and different angles, so they can see it from all directions possible.

I figured you had a good reason. Thanks for the explanation. Hope you are getting tons of sales too.

What I have decided: It WILL get better...I don't care if it kills me!! LOL It's just driving me crazy! Can't stand to make a single cab? WTH!!! LOL It'll get better, just gonna take a little time. Now a complaint about myself! I ordered these cabs to keep me busy right? Well, they are pretty nice little cabs...little being the keyword here, so bout to have a bunch of earring in my shop! LOL Guess I should pay attention a little better.....Oh well...earrings are good.....just take a little longer to put together and make them match. *sigh* one of these days I will get it together, thought I did one time, but if I did...not sure where I put it! LOL I did get some chains to put in the shop, got that much right! LOL Thanks again guys...appreciate all your input! I'll try to post more often....don't like to crowd things tho, cuz I do get a LOT of wire wrapping done in a day.

Hmmm... no way to use a chair or bar stool (with a back) so you can sit and cab?

Marie - can't earrings come in singles? I know matched pairs are common, but lots of people (men and women) have multiple holes in their ears. And I doubt they have matched pairs in all of them. Couldn't you market some of your earrings as singles? That way you at least save having to match them - and do the same design twice.

Nature - I've tried to sit down to cab...for some stupid reason I need to be standing up...looking over the top of what I am doing, or otherwise they come out all lopsided! LOL Dumb, I know, but.....I will get back to cabbing soon as I can bear it! Toad - ya know, I hadn't thought about that! I may just have to list some singles........hmmmmmmm

Sounds like you need to rest anyway instead of trying to cab right now, don't want to hurt your back any more than it already is ya know. I have not even tried earrings, don't have the cabs for it anyway, or the patience Singles sound like a good idea, weren't there guys who wore one earring a while back? Don't know if they still do it, that was in my younger years...lol. For sure keep posting, I get inspiration from your wraps.
