OMG Jo, that video is fantastic, I laughed so hard my side hurts...ROFLOL
Did you change your shorts at the top of the pass?...lol. What the video doesn't show is there is a visitor center at the top of Logan Pass with room to park (usually).
Might want to forgo the second trip on Going to the Sun Road, heard today that there might be snow (yes, I said snow) in Glacier at above 7000' with possibly rain/snow mix at 6500'. This is not typical weather for this time of year but it can happen.
Glad you had a good day and got to see the sights when the weather was cooperating.

Di, we had a picnic on the stony beach of McDonald Lake instead. It was a bit chilly in my sleeveless shirt. Don't worry, we had our can of bear spray handy. Angie got her feet wet in the lake. Just heard from our neighbors here that we did it backwards. We should have gone from East to West, then we would have been hugging the wall, instead of being on the side with the big drop. Oh well, guess we like to live dangerously... Jo

Jo Glad you had the bear spray handy, ya never know when one of those critters will show up (especially if the picnic involves huckleberries ;-) ) What fun is hugging the wall??? Can't see all the great drop offs...LOL. Give Angie big hugs from me. Bet she loved getting wet.

When I was just a pup we went up there on a family vacation, first time I ever saw a bear. I remember freaking out on that road too, looking over the side.. never was so good with heights lol. Great pics Jo, thanks for the flood of memories ;D

You're welcome Beefy. One of the many times Bill asked me how close we were on my side, I couldn't answer him because I had my hands over my eyes. I coped pretty well, but my vertigo did kick in and I started to get dizzy, so I looked away and got over it so I could look over the edge again, LOL. Here's a pic of the visitor's center Diane was talking about at the top of Logan Pass.
